LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Certain retailers require that you provide a certificate directly from GS1. There are only a handful of stores that require a GS1 certificate in your name or in your company name. It is your responsibility to check with your retailer(s) and/or wholesalers/distributors to find out their barcoding requirements and if they accept barcodes purchased from barcode resellers. The vast majority of retailers worldwide do not require a GS1 issued certificate and you to have GS1 membership. The buyer understands and agrees that Barcodes Hub UPC and EAN numbers will not be accepted by Home Depot, Walmart (Walmart online marketplace is accepted, not Walmart offline), Sam's Club, JC Penney's, Wegmans, Kroger, Costco, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Sears, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, Target and may not be accepted by K-Mart, Walgreen's and other large big-box retailers - mainly in the US and UK, but not limited to.

Certain EDI system providers and logistical companies that do business with Walmart and Kroger may also have the same requirements as Walmart and Kroger. If any retailer/wholesaler/distributor you plan to send your supply to requires a GS1 issued certificate, then you must obtain your barcode numbers directly from GS1.

If you are an Amazon seller and you need to use Amazon's EDI system for your products, you will be required to have a direct relationship with GS1. Please read our section on Amazon below, as there are a few other exceptions in regards to using barcodes on Amazon.

The Buyer understands that they may not resell, lease, or relist any codes purchased from Barcodes Hub without explicit written permission. If you are interested in reselling any of our codes, you will need to contact us first with your company information and where or how you plan to sell our codes and we will get back to you.

SELLING ON AMAZON

Labeling your products - as there can be a number of issues that can take place, we very strongly recommend that you list your product first on Amazon and then, add the UPC/EAN barcode image to your product only if required. Taking this approach, can save you time and expense should there be any issues with your Amazon listing.

About 97% of customers who buy codes intended for use on Amazon experience no listing issues. Around 3% of customers experience some kind of listing issues. For Google Merchant, Walmart.com, Shopify, eBay, Noon and other online marketplaces - there is a 0% error rate.

If you require your details on the GS1 certificate or your details to show in the GS1 database look up search, you will need to rent your numbers directly from the GS1 office within your country. Should you look up the UPC or EAN on the GS1 website database, the resulting prefix details will be of the original trading name associated with that prefix. Your name or company name will not appear in the GS1 database look-up results. Again, If you need to have your details show up, you must rent your own numbers from the GS1 in your country.

Many of the barcodes we sell are used to list products on amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.au, amazon.mx, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ae and all other Amazon sites Worldwide. We sell lots of barcodes to both new and old customers every day.

Around 2% of customers Who purchase from Barcodes Hub experience some kind of listing issue. All barcodes sold by Barcodes Hub are 100% legitimate and usable on Amazon. Our barcodes are accepted on any Amazon site worldwide - except for the following:
